The works from the series “Walking her Dog” are set in Fort Green Park, Brooklyn on a morning after a fresh snow storm. Allowing the viewer to feel the invigorating first steps into a wintry scene, this natural environment feels slightly remote and bare. Like the independence war prisoners honored by the towering monument in the old park, the protagonist of these brisk wanderings is trapped within his own memory, and in the circular structure of the park.
